British dairy farmers’ management attitudes towards agricultural plastic waste: reduce, reuse, recycle

Agricultural plastic waste from non-packing polymers, such as those used in silage production, constitutes the majority of United Kingdom's (UK) agricultural due to inadequate management. This study included online and telephone interviews with 12 British dairy farmers (nine England, three Wales) understand use non-packaging production on farms. It examined their current techniques management behaviours highlighted challenges reducing farms through lens circular economy. The findings show that UK have adhered mantra reduce, reuse, recycle. They clamps for high volumes try reuse some sheets, express a strong interest having collected recycled.
